Despite never officially working in HR, my last five years in HR tech sales have allowed me to connect with hundreds of HR and People Operations leaders, gaining invaluable insights into how advanced and fast-growing organizations approach their recruitment processes and people operations. I started out as a cashier, got my first internship in beauty tech influencer marketing (imagine the excitement of a junior student speaking with social media influencers), began my business development journey at a boat rental platform and finally anchored in HR tech. Having worked for both an ATS and a core HRIS company enabled me to have a deep understanding of how modern companies are utilizing best point-solutions to streamline their processes as opposed to an all-in-one approach.
