I believe recruiters serve an important purpose by connecting people with fulfilling work.From my own experience building a recruitment agency, and from working with others owners, I've seen firsthand how difficult it is to juggle candidate vetting and sourcing while still building client pipeline.Many weeks, I’d be swamped taking candidate calls only to get to Friday and realize, s**t(!), I need to get back on BD. So I'd switch back to prospecting, and the cycle started over again. I was on hamster wheel, and ended up burning out. Hard.I knew I had to solve this problem if I ever wanted to truly scale our agency, and threw myself into mastering business development systems, sending hundreds of thousands of cold-outbound messages and diving deep, deep into go-to-market engineering, prospecting, and direct sales.Over the next year and a half, I developed tools that helped book calls with hiring managers on repeat by mapping my network to open jobs, and being the first person in the inbox with a solid MPC candidate.
