Dan is an experienced technologist that began his professional career in 1996 at Network Solutions where he was an integral part of the team that registered and published the first one million domain names, including domain names such as mil and com. In July of 1997 a bad zone update caused DNS to fail, causing the Internet to cease to work properly for 24 hours. Dan was able to use his troubleshooting skills to restore DNS globally shortly after being invited to work with the advanced working group established to restore name resolution services. Dan has a passion for leading early-stage startups and bringing government cutting-edge technologies to help evolve and strengthen enterprise security. Working at companies like F5 Networks, Tripwire, ForeScout, WatchDox (Blackberry), FinalCode, Mattermost, Wickr (acquired by Amazon June 2021) and now Galvanick, , Dan has been able to help many enterprises sharpen and improve their security posture while maintaining a healthy user experience and consistently overachieving projected revenue targets.
