Enabling AI within an organization is not a flick of a switch. In fact, the same goes for enabling ANY transformational technology.

I help customers simplify that Almost 20 years ago, I started my career in Bioinformatics, a combination of Statistics, Software Development and Molecular Biology. Little did I know, this was the making of a “Data Scientist”. I then started the R User Group and transitioned into pre-sales, joining a startup providing Enterprise services to the open-source programming language R. In 2015, that startup, Revolution Analytics was acquired by Microsoft. I’ve been fortunate to witness the transformation of Microsoft’s Data and AI business from on-prem SQL Server to Cloud Machine Learning Services and lately Large Language I’m also proud to have landed many ‘firsts’; - First Enterprise Revolution Analytics in a large conglomerate in India and retailer in Japan- First Public R – Statistics Workshops in Singapore and Korea- First SQL – R Server in-database analytics in a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Asia and a bank in New Zealand- First Azure Databricks win in Australia with a partner- First Large Scale AzureML - ML-Factory (MLOps) Deployment in a Telco in Australia- First AzureML – Many Models for Time Series in an Energy Retailer in Australia- First RAG pattern deployment for Front Line Workers in a Telco Vertical- First Generative AI roll out to teachers and students in an Education VerticalBeyond Microsoft, I enjoy time disconnecting on a campground with my dog, family and friends or jumping on my road bike to travel to many unvisited parts of the world. As a continuous learner, I have recently completed the Chief Technology Officer course. I have a Bachelors in Computational Science and a Masters in Statistics.
