I spent 6 months running a company's entire outbound function by 10,000+ contacts sourced, verified, and entered one record at a time.

15,000 cold emails managed. Every list built from scratch, every delivery done manually. Then I got told no when I asked to automate it. So I left and built the machine That experience made one thing clear: the problem is never the sending. It is everything upstream like who you are targeting, whether the contact has actual buying authority, whether your ICP is still accurate three months later, and whether last month's reply data ever made it back to inform this month's list. Most outbound functions break at that loop. The person who defines the ICP never sees reply rates. The person building the list has no authority to challenge the ICP even when the data contradicts it. The person sending the emails has no idea how the list was built. Everyone optimises their own piece. Nobody owns the Closing that loop is the job. That is what I Numbers from real work: → 50,000+ B2B contacts sourced and verified across engagements → 10,000+ for a single UK compliance client — named contacts with buying authority, not generic inboxes → 15,000 cold emails managed over 5 months. Diagnosed a 99% generic-inbox problem at email 1,000. Rebuilt targeting from scratch. Reply rate: under 1% → 7% on named, personalised contacts → 1,000 raw prospects → 70 ICP-verified contacts → 70% reply rate on the resulting campaign → 576 verified leads pulled from two sources simultaneously, deduplicated, and delivered to Google Sheets in 49 minutes. One command. Unattended. The engineering layer: 6 production-grade Python tools on GitHub. 565 automated tests. CI across Linux, Windows, and macOS. Plus a private batch pipeline with parallel scrapers, SQLite run history, FastAPI delivery I Built it because the manual version was costing 4 to 6 hours per client delivery. The code exists because the ops problem demanded it, not the other way around. Stack: Apollo · Sales Navigator · HubSpot · Zoho CRM · Airtable · Clay · Google Sheets · Python · SQL Open to GTM engineering and outbound ops roles where owning the full loop with data, pipeline, delivery, and feedback and is the actual job. Remote. UK/US hours. Portfolio : io/Portfolio/
