Hi, I'm Amit Gautam, currently a GTM Engineer at ClickPost, and before that, the founder of Distance Connect. At ClickPost, a post-purchase experience platform that unifies shipping, tracking, and returns for global e-commerce brands. I work where data, automation, and go-to-market meet. I build Python pipelines, design outreach systems, and turn manual, guesswork-heavy processes into measurable, self-monitoring engines. Before this, I founded and led Distance Connect, a 1:1 career guidance platform connecting students directly with mentors from Google, Amazon, Maruti, Micron, and other top companies. No fluff. Just real advice from people who'd actually done it. In under two years, we: → Scaled to 5,000+ students and a network of verified mentors → Raised a pre-seed round from DTU-IIF, with backing from Google, Microsoft, and Dell for Startups → Reached an INR 2.5 Cr valuation My edge? I blend technical execution with storytelling. I design platforms, build automations, write scripts, create funnels, dig into user data, pitch to investors, and talk to users, because early on, the founder has to do everything that doesn't scale. What kept me going were the messages from students: "Sir, this one session changed how I look at my career." That's the kind of impact I want to keep building toward. Distance Connect was a defining chapter, it taught me how to build products, read data, and turn ambiguity into decisions. I'm now channelling that into product and growth analytics: using SQL, Python, and experimentation to understand what users really need and build for it. This is just the next chapter.
