That curiosity led to a secondment from Morgan Stanley to HM Treasury, advising the UK government on capital markets policy, where I first saw the potential of smart contracts and programmable During my MBA at LBS and UC Berkeley Haas, I worked alongside VC funds investing in crypto and became convinced that DeFi and onchain finance would be core to the next market structure. I’ve spent the years since in crypto capital markets working on liquidity infrastructure, DeFi ecosystem development across L1/L2 networks, and real-world asset Now at RealFi, I’m building the capital markets for USDr and sUSDr: a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by real-world assets and direct lending, launching on Cardano with cross-chain expansion to EVM. That means the market-maker relationships, exchange and lending-venue listings, and the liquidity and incentive design that bring a new instrument to market. It’s the sharpest version of what drew me to this space: using onchain infrastructure to connect real capital to real economies, transparently and at scale.
