I think a lot about what makes people feel like they belong. At Clay, I lead IRL community, designing and scaling experiences like Clay Clubs that bring people together in real life, and make those interactions actually meaningful.

Before this, I spent time in recruitment, managed stand-up comics, and ran an outbound agency, all different ways of understanding people, relationships, and what makes someone lean in. Community is easy to talk about and hard to build well. So my focus is to build a place where there are less transactions, and more belonging. We’re building Clay’s community around a few core ideas: giving first, helping others, and making real friends along the way. The goal isn’t just to run events. It’s to create spaces where people feel seen, meet people they didn’t expect to, and actually want to come back. I also write a newsletter where I share what I’m learning about community and what actually makes it work. If you’re building community, thinking about it, or just curious, I’m always happy to chat.
