After years in the trucking industry, I watched drivers waste hours on routes that didn't account for truck restrictions, bridge heights, or real-time conditions. I saw small fleet owners like myself lose money because existing navigation tools weren't built for our reality. When trucks stop, the country stops. Three days to empty grocery shelves. One week to empty hospital supply rooms. Twenty-four hours to empty gas pumps. The freight industry isn't just a sector of the economy. It IS the economy. That's why I'm obsessed with solving navigation for commercial vehicles. Every minute we save a driver translates to real money for fleet owners and more time home for the people who keep America moving. During the 2021 freight boom, I ran three step decks and experienced firsthand how the right tools can make or break profitability. Now I'm part of Techstars 2025, using AI and real-time data to build navigation that actually works for trucks.
