About

I’m Kartik - a triple major in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Toronto, and an ex-founder and early-stage operator. I began my career as the first employee at F8th, where I spent 5.5 years helping scale the company from 1 to 35+ employees as Chief Business Officer. During that time, I supported fundraising and operations that led to a $15M–$20M Series A valuation, secured more than $1M per year in SR&ED refunds for four consecutive years, raised $2.5M+ in non-dilutive funding through wage subsidies and grants, and supported $1.5M+ raise via SAFEs and convertible notes. After operating at founder level for several years, I became an angel investor, achieving 15×–25× returns across early-stage startups including Brust, GoX, BabyBox123, F8th Inc., and FrontFundr.I was then the GTM Team Lead at Claio (Valsoft), where I built the revenue engine from zero. As of December 2025, I generated $450K ARR and a $2M qualified pipeline in under three months through 5,100+ outbound calls, 4,200+ emails, and 100+ demos. I own the full go-to-market and customer lifecycle end-to-end and am currently hiring and scaling an external distribution team.I am now at Embrace as a GTM Engineer, building the go-to-market engine for CSPI, a fintech platform serving 200+ bank and credit union clients through the Aurora product suite. I own the full GTM roadmap - diagnosing organizational gaps across sales, marketing, pricing, and onboarding, then translating findings into structured, actionable workstreams. Currently architecting a 12-workstream initiative targeting 1,500+ initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve sales enablement, and sharpen competitive positioning in an evolving market.I’ve also represented companies in and participated in programs including Google for Startups Accelerator, Techstars, CTA Silicon Valley, Desjardins, Station Fintech, NVIDIA Inception, IBM Hyper Protect Accelerator, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and Y Combinator-affiliated programs. Outside of work, I’m a licensed private pilot. My long-term focus is building and scaling meaningful companies from zero to sustained growth.
