From Police Uniform to E-Commerce Founder | Investment Banking Working Student | International Management Student. I’m Gianluca, 24 years old, and my path hasn’t been traditional and that’s exactly what shaped me.I started my career in the police, thinking stability was what I wanted. After 2 years, I realised I’m not made for routine tasks or waiting years for responsibility.I’m driven by curiosity, creativity and the desire to build something on my own, so I left and founded an e-commerce business with a friend, one of the best decisions of my life.Running this company for 4 years has taught me more than any textbook: how to solve problems daily, make decisions fast, understand customers, manage risk and take full ownership for results.To deepen my financial and strategic skill set, I began studying International Management and started working in investment banking alongside my studies. This combination of entrepreneurship, finance and international business has given me a strong foundation in how value is created – from the first idea to the capital markets.Today, I see myself as a fast learner, a builder and someone who genuinely loves to grow. I’m always looking for new perspectives, new environments and new challenges, and I want to surround myself with people I can learn from and teams where I can contribute real value.
