About
If you are building a SaaS product that is breaking under real users, struggling with scalability, or becoming too complex to evolve safely, I help fix that. I work as a Product Engineer focused on designing and stabilizing SaaS systems that need to operate reliably in production, not just work in demos. My focus is on building systems where architecture, security, and performance are not separate concerns, but part of the same foundation. I specialize in designing and evolving systems across: → SaaS backend architecture and multi-tenant systems → Secure data models using PostgreSQL and Row Level Security (RLS) → Scalable APIs and production-grade backend infrastructure → AI-powered systems (RAG pipelines, OpenAI integrations, pgvector) → Real-time workflows, event-driven systems, and webhooks → Mobile and web applications built for production scale What I focus on in practice: I help teams move from fragile systems to structured, production-ready architecture by: → reducing system complexity without losing flexibility → enforcing secure-by-default backend design → stabilizing critical workflows under real-world traffic → improving maintainability across growing codebases → aligning engineering decisions with product outcomes I care less about “writing code” and more about ensuring systems continue working as products evolve. Recent work includes: → Migrating a US-based marketplace from a hybrid web prototype to a production-ready React Native (Expo) architecture with geolocation and real-time constraints → Optimizing and maintaining 50+ Supabase Edge Functions in a live production environment → Designing multi-tenant SaaS systems using PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) → Building AI-powered systems using OpenAI, RAG pipelines, and vector search (pgvector) → Implementing Stripe billing systems and event-driven backend workflows → Working with geospatial systems using PostGIS for real-time location-based logic My engineering approach: My background in the Brazilian Navy shaped how I think about software: → systems must be reliable under pressure → failures must be predictable and controllable → discipline matters more than complexity → ownership does not end at deployment I treat software as operational infrastructure, not just code.As my career evolves, I'm increasingly interested in secure system design, cybersecurity, payment security, and compliance. I enjoy understanding how engineering decisions influence risk, resilience, and trust in production systems.
