Principal Software Engineer at Autobooks, where I architect the in-browser analytics platform that powers Hub across regulated financial institutions: a schema-driven DuckDB-WASM stack with metadata-as-source-of-truth governance, column-level access controls, and a Claude-powered AI assistant operating inside the same compliance substrate. I've operated as a hands-on platform architect for years. Before Autobooks established a Principal IC track in 2026, I carried a VP title to fill an org need — when the IC track was created, I moved into it directly. That's the work I want to keep doing: deep platform engineering, metadata and governance, and shipping AI features that actually hold up in regulated environments. 12+ years as a player-coach engineer at high-growth startups.
