After successfully starting and selling her first business before the age of 18 (featured in the Advertiser, ABC, News.com.au), Jess is a recipient of the Governor of South Australia’s Commendation Award, recognised as an ‘Ehrenberg Scholar,' and was named 40 Under 40 & Woman of the Year finalist (SA).Jess is an AI consultant + educator, working across business and government, with a particular focus on bridging the AI education gap for regional Australia and young people (speaking & advisory, ft. in The Age etc.)Her work sits at the intersection of AI education, strategy and implementation... helping organisations move from AI curiosity (and overwhelm!) to confident, practical AI use.Currently based between South Australia and Hong Kong, Jess is also apart of the ReubenAI Founding Team (Lead of Sales and Marketing, GTM) - the investment intelligence platform automating the entire venture lifecycle. She is also a 'HK representative' for Think Global, working with Cyberport (AI, Web3, blockchain, FinTech), a leading Asia-Pacific innovation hub. Jess's entrepreneurial journey began at just 16, growing a business that was featured in several publications including The Advertiser, ABC Online, News.com.au. She then pursued her Business (Marketing) studies at University of South Australia, where she received the Australian Government's 'New Colombo Plan' scholarship - to study a semester at City University Hong Kong. During this time, she was also selected for both the Women and Student Fellowship programs with Startmate.Alongside her entrepreneurial journey, at 17, Jess was recognised as Employee of the Year (SA/VIC) in the QSR sector. She also mentored students studying entrepreneurship at the University of Adelaide, and volunteered for Ac.care and the Aged Care Visitors scheme.Jess was also a media ambassador for South Australia's Department for Child Protection’s ‘Foster the Feeling’ campaign (featured in The Advertiser, among others), and collaborated with CESA using her unique experience to help shape a system-wide social entrepreneurial initiative across 103 schools in Australia.At a young age, Jess has built a multifaceted background across Australia and Asia driven by her curiosity about business, people, and solving problems through startups/entrepreneurship.Hello@JessTresidder.comJessTresidder.com
