Founder of Wednesday, a workforce intelligence company for the skilled trades. We track 2M+ skilled tradespeople across the U.S. to help hiring teams, contractors, investors, and market researchers understand labor supply and reach the 70% of tradespeople job boards miss. Our core thesis is simple: cold outbound is the most underutilized channel in skilled trades staffing. We have the data, systems, and scale to make it work. Before Wednesday, I spent years building growth, data, and outbound systems across startups and digital media companies. I was employee zero/one at Recurrent Ventures, where I helped build the growth playbook behind a company that raised $100M+ and acquired brands including Popular Science, The Drive, Bob Vila, Dwell, Domino, Field & Stream, and Outdoor Life. I’ve been building online businesses since 2007 — including growing a drop-shipping furniture business from zero to nearly $1M in revenue as a teenager. A few uncommon things about me: - I’m great at thinking of comebacks, as long as you give me a few days. - I often run away from my problems. Twenty minutes on a treadmill usually helps. - I think it’s useful to be the smartest person in the room sometimes, and the dumbest person in the room other times. Just don’t stay in the same position forever. - I’m from Canada, but not that into hockey. Sorry not sorry. - I’ve had a Shiba Inu since before Dogecoin was a thing.
