I do that by analyzing data using SQL, Python, Tableau, and other tools to uncover interpretable and actionable business insights. As a human being, I strongly believe that every day is an opportunity. Each day, I dedicate several hours of my free time to improve my current knowledge or study new material to capitalize on my greatest passion - learning. Outside the time I spend on personal and professional development, I enjoy driving, hiking, and walking new trails to free my mind and take care of my mental self. 💎 What's my story? 👇 Originally from Russia, I moved away from my parents at the age of 15 to work towards my dream of living the United States. Since then, I continued my education in Slovenia, UK and China until I moved to San Francisco and graduated with my Bachelor's degree in 2017. After graduation, I worked as a consultant to SMEs across different US markets where I leveraged my strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset to help my clients solve their challenges and improve their business performance. During my time in consulting I realized that while I have developed strong business and interpersonal skills, I lacked analytical knowledge and experience in data science. This is when I decided to pursue 2 Master's degrees - a Master's in International Business and a Master's in Business Analytics. While Master's in International Business further improved my business mindset and interpersonal skills, it was Master's in Business Analytics that helped me develop my Python, SQL, Tableau, and other technical skills as an aspiring data scientist. In addition to my classroom worked, I spent most of my free time every day further mastering my Python, SQL, and Tableau skills to position me for the future I envisioned for myself as data scientist. My proactive learning approach maximized my performance during my Master's in Business Analytics and has since allowed me to solve business challenges using both my business mindset and technical I graduated with Master's in International Business in August 2019, and then graduated with an additional Master's degree in Business Analytics in March 2020. The combination of my business experience, interpersonal skills, and strong data science skills with tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau earned me the privilege to work as a data scientist at Flatfile, Inc.
