I’m Aditya Venkatesan, a pre-final year Computer Science undergrad from Chennai, India.I’m currently the Founding GTM Engineer at Relling, a YC-backed Physical AI robotics company selling automation into manufacturers and industrial plants.My work sits somewhere between engineering, GTM systems, data and mild internet archaeology.At Relling, I build the systems that help answer a fairly simple question:Which plant should we go after, why now, who inside matters, and how do we get in?A few things I’ve built: - A 15+ signal lead-gen engine across hiring pain, plant expansions, government spend, capex, partnerships, PE ownership, integrators and other public data - Plant-level intelligence that goes past the company name and finds the exact facility where the problem exists - A separate live GTM signal layer that catches changes, infers intent and turns them into leads - Agentic research, enrichment and outbound workflows that turn messy public data into pipeline, which is a nicer outcome than another dashboard nobody opens Before Relling, I worked customer-facing at Huntd, building GTM and competitive-intelligence systems with growth teams at Rho, Hyperbound, Peec AI and others. I also helped build the outbound systems that took Huntd from 0 to $100K ARR.That experience made me pretty convinced GTM Engineering is its own discipline. The job is not just writing code or doing sales. It is understanding a revenue problem, finding the data nobody has packaged properly yet, building the system around it, and then actually using it.Lately I’ve gone especially deep into industrial GTM.SaaS has Apollo, ZoomInfo, technographics, intent platforms and increasingly clean data infrastructure.Industrial GTM has job boards, government databases, integrator networks, PE portfolios and a suspicious number of PDFs named FINAL_FINAL_v7.pdf.I like that.I like messy problems where engineering, data, distribution and the physical world collide, especially when the product being sold looks slightly like science fiction and the GTM stack looks slightly like 2009.
